Hey Guys, next up is a fashion blog post!
I have been trying to make the most out of the summer evenings by living the Dublin life to the best of my ability, over the past number of months. I love having something new to wear and keeping up with the latest fashion. I am always exploring the shops in Dublin, to figure what is next on my wish list for the up and coming events. Nothing makes me happier than an outfit complete from head to toe. I love jewellery too & find it hard to not pair my chosen outfit with a nice choker, rings, bracelets and so on. Over the past while, I have attended various different events, from: Girly Nights Out, Dates, Work Do’s, Blogger Conf ’17, BBQ’s & more. If you already know that you like my style – keep reading for more information on where I have recently found my outfits.
^ Aw, I wish I had a full-length snap of this one, as it’s definitely my favourite find in a long while. I wore this back in April and it was perfect for the occasion, as the sun was out and the floral detail was ideal. I decided to pair this with a white blazer to compliment the white detail throughout the playsuit. When the chill set in around 10 O’ clock, I was delighted I didn’t have to freeze for fashion. This playsuit was already quite short, so I wore – sandals with a small bit of a heal to make me feel more comfortable.
Playsuit – Miss Selfridge – €55
Blazer – Primark – €22
^ Oh goodness, this is also up there with my favourite dress this summer. This beauty is from Zara. When I saw it in the shop, I instantly thought that the colours were too bold for me but given the season that was in it, I pushed that boundary a little bit.
Dress – Zara – €35
^ This little number was as cheap as chips – sure where can you go wrong with something like that and guess what? There’s no worry about having a bloated tummy in this 😛
Dress – New Look – €9 (Sale)
^ Oh M G! I love this one too. This is a jumpsuit – I wore this to the Blogger Conference 2017. It was very suitable, not too dressy/comfortable and apparently people claimed that they knew I had to be a fashion blogger when they saw me – (if you’re reading this, thank you and it was lovely being introduced to the world of blogging for the first time 🙂 !)
Wait a second, have you guessed I like floral outfits? It wasn’t until now that I realised how I may be slightly obsessed. I did not think I had this many floral clothes, omg!
Jumpsuit – Bershka – €39
This wrap around dress is from Primark and this was also not on the pricey side. Hmm, this was around €18 if I remember correctly. I love this colour but I wasn’t so sure on if the style would suit me but it’s definitely a good option for dinner and a glass of red.
Wrap Dress – Primark – €18
Please ignore the beer in my hand, it was my birthday and I wasn’t allowed to go around empty handed for the duration of the celebrations – thanks guys 🙂 Back to Zara and Umm back to the floral (Seriously, what!) I purchased this for €15 (sale) and it was originally a jumpsuit, but I decided to change it up a bit and it was too warm so I got it altered into a playsuit.
If you follow me on my Insta & Snapchat stories – you probably know all about the ‘You’re going to break hearts if you do that’ story @mias_ways 😉
I changed it up slightly from girly, floral dresses and went for a more casual look here – even though, the bell sleeves sort of speak for themselves.
Top – Primark – €10
Jeans – Only – €25
Once again, looking a bit more casual here.
Top – Primark – €5 (Sale)
Jeans – Bershka – €30
Last but not least and I am not sure if this classifies as fashion, however – whenever I wasn’t in a floral dress, this is what I looked like for the past couple of months. My sailing gear consists of, CH Marine, Musto, Helly Hansen, Spinlock, Roxy, North Face, Dubarry, Volvo Ocean Race, Gill and possibly some more items under there somewhere.
Summer to me means, life jacket or a floral dress – from one extreme to the next and it seems like I have demonstrated that this year. I hope you enjoyed this blog post – I always get questions on where I get my clothes from and here you can find some of my favourite shops. If you are ever looking for some fashion advice or opinion, I would be happy to help.
Until next time
